Artist Statement
In my exploration of photography as a medium I realize that I am enthralled not just by the images but by the process of creating them. Whether I'm observing someone walk across the street, looking through the lens of my camera, watching an image appear on the paper floating in the developer or experimenting with transparencies on the light table, I find myself spellbound by the images.
My fascination with the creative process of playing with colour, shape, light and shadow continues to fuel the fire of my inspiration. This is an ongoing learning process pushing me to stretch the boundaries of my work.
